Funeral service for Margaret “Thelma” Chenault Sandlin, 96, will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Thompson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, September 13, 2014 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Sandlin died on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born June 30, 1918, in Lawrence County to John Jesse Chenault and Elizabeth Day Swindle Chenault. She was a housekeeper for Summerford Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: L. J. Sandlin and her parents.
