Mrs. Margaret "Susie" Estelle Thomas Mrs. Margaret “Susie” Estelle Thomas of the Union Hill Community of Morgan City; transitioned and entered the gates of Heaven on Tuesday – November 17, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
Mrs. Thomas was born the daughter of Gilbert A. Prince Sr. and Mary Lois Clark Prince on October 27, 1930 in Marshall County, Alabama. After high school, Susie went on to work for G.T.E. as one of their well respected Assembly Line employees. Throughout her life, she took passion in doing things around her house, reading, watching TV loving and caring for others and most of all spending time with her grandson.
Susie leaves to reminisce celebrate the precious memories of her life; son, Roger Thomas; daughter, Pam Chaffee; grandson; Anthony Blocker (Miranda) and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents; of Gilbert A. Prince Sr. and Mary Lois Clark Prince; Mrs. Thomas is at last reunited with her one true love; Milton V. Thomas whom passed in March of 2007 and 7 siblings.
A Visitation will take place at the New Canaan Baptist Church in the Union Hill Community on Sunday – November 22, 2020 from 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Funeral Services for Susie will follow the visitation at the New Canaan Baptist Church on Sunday – November 22, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. with Bro. Eldridge Criscoe, officiating.
Interment will follow services at the adjoining church cemetery.
Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Directing.
