Funeral service for Mrs. Margaret Sue Burns, 69, of Cullman, will be today, September 3, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Burns, who passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014, at her residence, was born August 16, 1945, in Moulton to Robert and Minnie Reed Landers. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Landers Jr.; one sister, Kathaleen Landers; and one grandson, Cody Shikle.
She is survived by her husband, W.C. “Chuck” Burns; children, Barry (Vicki) Frost, Brian (Leslie) Frost, Lisa (Ray) Woods, Felicia (Clint) Pace, Wade (Robin) Burns; siblings, Francis Sibley, Alma Jordan, Katrine Millwood, Mabelene Wallace and Doug Landers; grandchildren; Roy Lee Woods, Michael Woodruff, Lora Leigh Frost, Amber Nicole Purcell, Ryan Burns and Connor Frost; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of the Valley or the Joe Griffin Hope Center of Birmingham.
