Margaret Rose Bell, age 86 of Natural Bridge, Alabama, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024 in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born May 22, 1938 to Marvin and Madie (West) Kelley. Margaret was also known as “Maggie”, “Granny Maggie” or “Granny Bell” to her loved ones. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, and traveling. In her later days Maggie spent her time watching HGTV and the Food Network. She was notorious for posting on Facebook to all her friends and family. Margaret was also a member of The Order of The Eastern Star.
The service will be held Monday, July 22, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate. Family will receive friends after the service until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Dodd and her husband Scott; son, Greg Bell; grandchildren, Tiffani Thomas and Tera Baggett and her husband Christian; great grandchildren, Kennedy and Raileigh Thomas and Penelope and Piper Baggett; brother, Earl Kelley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Bell; parents, Marvin and Madie Kelley; grandson, Michael Thomas (Tiffani’s husband); brother, James Kelley, Dale Kelley.
