Margaret “Peggy” Woodruff Kelly

Margaret “Peggy” Woodruff Kelly was born on December 6, 1938, in Russellville, Alabama and died August 8, 2024, in Jacksonville, Florida, where she had lived most of her adult life. Peggy was a talented artist, a voracious reader, an avid gardener, a valued friend, and a lover of animals.

She was predeceased by her husband, Julian Driskell Kelly, and her parents, James Mercer Woodruff and Josephine Wilson Woodruff.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Montijo of Jacksonville, and a grandson, Eric Julian Montijo of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

She will be interred beside her husband at National Cemetery, Jacksonville.
