Margaret P. White, 94, of Florence, passed away on January 26, 2024. She was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ and retired from TVA.
A visitation will be Saturday February 3, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 pm at Greenview Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Ricky Berger officiating.
Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. White; daughter, April Williams; and grandson Tyler Williams.
She is survived by daughters, Teresa Shrum (Doug) of Florence and Alice Wright (Chuck) of Collierville, TN; grandchildren, Brad Nelson (Rachael), Blair Nelson, Amber Graves (Britt) all of Florence, Jessica Bennett (Thomas) of Franklin, TN, Shawn Wright (Shakina) of Clarksville, TN, Brett Wright of Memphis, TN, Somer Borden (Josh) of Tuscumbia, Maggie Williams of Muscle Shoals, and Joshua Shrum, and Jessica Brumblow (Justin) both of Gadsden; and great grandchildren, Cade and Kye Borden, Ellie Grace, Claire, and Ruthie Graves, Zac and Wade Nelson, Katie and Annabella Nelson, Jackson and Georgia Bennett, Shawn Michael Wright, Braydon Trimm, Trenton and Andrew Brumblow, Jacob McCraw, and Caleb Shrum.
Pallbearers will be Brad Nelson, Blair Nelson, Shawn Wright, Brett Wright, Britt Graves, and Mark White. Mickey White will serve as Honorary Pallbearer.
A special thanks to Dr. Minerva Burgos and the late Dr. Mack Barnes both of Alabama Oncology, Dr. Ralph Aquadro, Southern Care Hospice, especially Amanda and Misty, her sweet caregiver Necy Jackson, Ericka, Heather, and all the staff at Columbia Cottage, her sweet longtime friend Tommie Plunk, and neighbor Judi Williams.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
