Mrs. Margaret O. DerryberryMrs. Margaret O. Derryberry, age 89, passed away late Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at her home in Wildersville. She was born July 8, 1934 in Nashville, Arkansas to the late Arlis Thomas Oliver and Dovie Oliver. She was a retired teacher from Central Arkansas Christian School and a member of Wildersville Church of Christ. She was a true artist and loved painting, while also enjoying crocheting, cooking, and shopping. She always studied her Bible and loved her family dearly.
She was preceded in death by one brother, T. C. Oliver; two sisters, Annette Eastwood and Patsy Level; and one granddaughter, Victoria Webb.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Mr. Thomas J. Derryberry; her son, Jeff Derryberry (Cindy); two daughters, Belinda McIntyre and Karen Hall (Mark); three brothers, Bill Oliver (Trish), Mike Oliver (Linda), and Jay Oliver (Suzanne); six grandchildren, Virginia Chapman, Ethan Derryberry, Austin Hall, Tyler Hall, Ivy Derryberry, and Lacey Hall; and five great grandchildren, Allyn Webb, Elle Chapman, Bentley Webb, Emmy Webb, and Hunter Chapman.
The family would like to say thank you to Mrs. Margaret’s friend, Mrs. Cheryl Blackstock, for all of her help over the last several years.
Funeral services are scheduled for 12 PM, Saturday, April 13, 2024 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home in Lexington. Interment will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, 9 AM until time of service.
