Margaret Murphree Clark, 75 of Holly Pond the New Home Community, died Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. Clark was born October 10, 1942 in Cullman County to Jesse James Murphree and Eudie Louise Townson Murphree. She worked at Eaton until her retirement. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and her family and enjoyed cooking and canning.
She was a member of Roswell Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her husband: Billy J. Clark; her children and in-laws: Eddie James Clark and Nanette, Sonya Thrower and Tim, Sherry Sullivan and Joel and Stacey McBride and Matt; her grandchildren: Clarke Thrower and Katie, Hope Thrower Vaughn and Dusty, Tyler Clark, Anna Clark Patterson and Matt, Dex Sullivan and Shay, Dalton Sullivan, Cole McBride and Gavin McBride; great grandchildren: Lane Vaughn, Wells Sullivan, Charlotte Thrower and Thomas Ridge Patterson; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Austin Murphree and Valerie and Benny Murphree and Mary and her sister and brother-in-law: Shirley Gardner and Roy. She was preceded in death by her parents: Jesse James and Eudie Louise Murphree and her brother: Joe Murphree.
Funeral service will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday January 14, 2018 at Roswell Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Brothers: David Harper, Steve LeCroy and George Knott, officiating. Burial will be in Roswell Creek Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Clarke Thrower, Tyler Clark, Dex Sullivan, Dalton Sullivan, Cole McBride and Gavin McBride.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday January 13, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
