Margaret Louise Smith, age 79, of Sumiton passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. Martin in the Pines. Graveside services will be 11 AM Monday, April 24, 2022 at Shanghi Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fonzo and Margaret Spradlin; husband, J.C. Stevens; husband, Al Smith; and a host of siblings.
She is survived by her daughters, Debra Wood (Scott) of Cordova, Rhonda Manning of Sumiton, and Mary Sexton (JR) of Sumiton; a son, Rodney Stevens (Jennifer) of Ashville; granddaughters, Heather Elizabeth of Adamsville and Hannah Stevens of Ashville; grandsons, Jason Lovell of Sumiton, Jerry Caradine (Kayla) of West Jefferson, Brandon Caradine of Sumiton, Josh Caradine (Tori) of Lafette, GA, Dylan Sexton (Sydney) of Jasper, and Joshua Stevens of Ashville; and a host of nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
