Funeral service for Margaret L. Childers, 85, will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Barber officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Childers Cemetery in Eva. Visitation will be Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Childers died on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born October 31, 1930, in Morgan County to Jerry Jerome Chop and Doris Madaline Drinkard Chop. She was a homemaker and was a member of Summerbrook Church of God of Prophecy at Somerville. She was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Childers, Jr., her parents, a son: Larry Wayne Childers, two daughters: Norma Jean Oden and Anita Pannell, a brother: Steve Chop, Sr., and two sisters: Josephine Mooney and Mildred Holmes.
