Margaret “Jane” Jones, age 70, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Thursday, December 28, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was a Marshall County native born October 28, 1953, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late L. A. Bradford, Jr. and Virginia Philpott Bradford. Jane was a homemaker for many years before entering the workforce in the Marshall County community at Teledyne and CosmoLab. She was a member at Berea Church of Christ in the Verona Caney area. During her spare time, she enjoyed participating in her grandchildren’s activities, traveling, playing the game Words with Friends and giving her time to others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Connie Haislip and Lisa Essary.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Steve Jones; daughter, Jennifer (Nathan) Gochee of Murfreesboro; son Devin (Kristi) Jones of Lewisburg; sister, Mary Jett of Belfast; grandchildren, Breonna Gochee, Cason (Kenzie) Gochee, Kaeghan Gochee, Tacoda Gochee, Ashlen Jones and Colton Sager; and other nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Breonna Gochee, Cason Gochee, Kaeghan Gochee, Ashlen Jones, Tacoda Gochee, Chris Haislip, and Shane Bradford.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Berea Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home on Monday, January 1, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
