A memorial service for Margaret Jane Ingram, 72, of Oxford will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Betta View Hills Church of Christ in Oxford with Scott Blake officiating.
Ms. Ingram passed away on Thursday, December 28, of cancer.
Survivors include cousins, Randall Finch (Amy), Rick Finch (Sherry), Mike Finch (JoAnne), Ellen Cody, many other beloved family members including Scott Finch (Jennifer), Beth Hurt, Logan Cody, Keira Finch, Kinsley Finch, Zachary Finch (Stephanie), Savanna Finch, Hayleigh Roberts, Kevin Hurt, and some very special friends including Jenna Mayfield, Paula Malcolm, Jennifer Riddle, and Becky Robinson.
Ms. Ingram is preceded in death by her parents, Sybil and B.H. Ingram, aunt Nellie Finch, and uncles B.H. Finch (Marie), and Nolan Finch (Jeanette).
A very special thank you to Jenna Mayfield for caring for Jane during her last few weeks.
Ms. Ingram was a member of the Church of Christ. She was the librarian at Hill Elementary in Munford for 37 1/2 years. She loved books and was an avid book collector. She also loved antiques and antique shopping. She loved Alabama football and never missed watching a game. Most importantly, she loved her family and friends.
She was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by all.
