Funeral service for Margaret Jane Harvel McAbee, 90, will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jones officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. McAbee died on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at River City Center. She was born May 18, 1925, in Morgan County to James L. Harvel and Pearl Tunstill Harvel. She was a Member of West End UMC, Hopewell Homemaker Club and the Corsbie St. Prayer Group. In Lieu of flowers make donations to West End UMC, 513 St. Clair St. SW Hartselle, AL 35640 or Meals on Wheels in Decatur, AL. Mrs. McAbee was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Russell McAbee, and Daughter, Linda McAbee Taylor.
