Mrs. Margaret Flowers Shutt, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at her home in Scotts Hill. She was born January 17, 1958 in Henderson County to the late Henry Opal and Dorothy Myracle Flowers. She was retired from American Health Partners, where she worked in the office. She was a Baptist in belief and loved playing piano and listening to Southern Gospel Music. She also loved quilts, crafts, antiques, and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. James Walter Shutt and her brother, Danny Ray Flowers.
Survivors include her step-son, Wesley Shutt (Stacy); three sisters, Sharon Clayton (the late Jimmy Clayton), Lucinda Ison, and Charlynn Johnson (Mike); one grandchild, Chesney Shutt; and three nephews, Justin Flowers (Talley), Tony Ison (Erin), and Matthew Kennedy.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3PM, Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Judson Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Judson Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Pafford Funeral Home in Scotts Hill on Friday from 4 – 8 PM and at Judson Baptist Church on Saturday, 10 AM – 3 PM.
