Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Morgan, age 91, of Sumiton passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at her residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, 2021 at Morgan Cemetery. Pastors Tom Salter and James Gardner will officiate. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She was a devoted member of the Sumiton United Methodist Church for many, many years. Long known for her positive outlook on life, she was a loving mother and proud homemaker who always cared for her family and friends from the depths of her heart. Margaret will be greatly missed by family, friends and her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gale R. Morgan; parents, Everett and Mattie Hinton; and sisters, Marie Colvin and Helen Gardner.
She is survived by her daughters, Wanda Morrow (Ronnie) and Sharon Becknell (James); son, Ramsey Morgan (Rene); grandchildren, Grant Morrow (Camila), April Kimbrell (Tim), Emily Thomas (Ben), Alyce Adams (Josh) and Ethan Morgan; great grandchildren, Aldic and Jacob Adams, Stella Morrow, James Mata, Judson and Tyson Kimbrell, and Brett and Ella Thomas; sister-in-laws, Kathryn Boyd, Mildred Morgan and Maxine Morgan; and a host of many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for the service: Gary Colvin, Duane Colvin, Lawson Murphy, Tim Kimbrell, Ben Thomas and Josh Adams.
