Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Hubbard, age 81, of Decatur, Alabama passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Shepherds Cove Hospice in Albertville, Alabama. Margaret was born May 25, 1942 to parents, George Franklin Pettus and Berthie Robinson Pettus. She was married to husbands, Charles Zondlo and James Crathen Hubbard, both preceding her in death. Margaret was of the Baptist faith and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Decatur.
Margaret loved her family with all of her heart. This included not only her children and grandchildren but her church family as well. She had a wide variety of interest including shopping, traveling, cooking and board games.
Surviving Margaret and cherishing memories of her include her three sons, James F. Hubbard, David C. Hubbard and Ronald Hubbard; ten grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents, George and Berthie Pettus, and her two husbands, Charles Zondlo and James Hubbard, are a son, Kevin Hubbard; a daughter, Minnie Lee Hubbard; and a brother, Jesse Pettus.
The family has elected cremation and no service is planned at this time.
