Margaret Elizabeth Hale Wylie, 82, of Cherokee, Alabama, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Morrison Funeral Home in Cherokee. The funeral will be Thursday, July 25th in the chapel at 2:00pm with Rod Stanski officiating. Burial will follow in Rhodesville Methodist Cemetery in Central.
Margaret was a native of Florence and worked as a certified nurse’s aid. She was a member of the V.F.W. in Sheffield. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband, William Clayton Wylie; parents, Earnest Howard Hale, Eva Lenora Hale; brothers, Leon, Richard, Buddy; sisters, Lavern, Lenora; and grandson, William Chase Newbury. She is survived by her daughters, Kay Hayes (Joel), Tammy Pitman (Terry); brothers, Bobby Hale (Kris), J. D. Hale; sisters, G. G. Cahoon, Thelma Richardson (Ronnie); grandchildren, Dakota Elizabeth Hayes, Levi Hayes, and Tara Pitman.
Pallbearers will be Levi Hayes, David Hale, Stephen Ringer, Brian Cahoon, Richard Hale, Chris Hale, Joel Jayes and Ronnie Casteel.
