Margaret E. Sutherland

Margaret E. Sutherland, age 75 of Double Springs, passed away Saturday, March 15,2015 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 11, 1949 to Calvest and Vera Moody. Margaret’s family was her life. She loved to craft, scrapbook and crochet. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Double Springs, where a service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery. Brother Buford Parker will officiate. Margaret was survived by her sons, Tommy L. Sutherland and Michael L. Sutherland (Mary Ellen); daughter, Dana S. Wyma (Kevin); grandchildren, Jacob Lovett (Tori), Bri Lancaster (Kourtni), Nic Bryan, Ben M. Sutherland and Maddie Sutherland; great- grandchildren, Ella Lovett, Payson Lovett, Kellin Lovett and Jagger Lovett; brother, Murphy Moody (Shirley); sister, Mellonie Maze (Terry); and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry L. Sutherland; parents, Calvest “Bill” Moody and Vera Rose; brother, Gene Knight; and sisters, Jeneice Beasley, Louise Brooks and Bernice Odom.
