Margaret Delanie Bryant Thurman, 71, passed way Friday, October 21, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home, with Pastor Darrell Paul officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home.
Born November 3, 1950 in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Larence Mack Bryant and the late Martha Napier Bryant. She was a 1968 graduate of Columbia Central High School. Delanie was a licensed Aesthetician, and was the owner and operator of Delanie’s All About Face for over 30 years. She poured her heart into the business which showed to all her customers.
Survivors include her son, Eric McCollom Thurman of Columbia; brothers and sisters, Harry Mack Bryant of Columbia; Rebecca Bryant (Chuck) Lannom of Mt. Juliet; Scott Howard (Kim) Bryant of Columbia; John Marshall (Pam) Bryant of Columbia; Joan Bryant (Robin) Starr of Hartselle, Alabama; Suzette Bryant Shackelford of Columbia; nieces and nephews, Wesley Mack Bryant (Katie Premo), Natalie Napier Bryant (Jeff) Quintana, Kelsey Maclyn (Bruce) Lott, John Austin Bryant (Madison), Alexander Preston Bryant, Hannah Alyssa Bryant (Houston) Paul, Jessica Ann Shackelford, Lon Turner Starr, Jenny Evelyn Shackelford, Noah Scott Bryant, Shelby Lynleigh Bryant; great nieces and nephews, Avery Jo Bryant, Nora Macklyn Bryant, Turner Mack Lott, Henry William Lott, Bodie Bryant Quintana, Jace Tyer Seal, Roland Thomas Lott, Braelynn Diane Paul; and other nieces and nephews, Audrey Rountree, CiCi Quintana, Jay Quintana, and Rosie Quintana.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Bridget Ann Bryant, Jim Thurman, father of Eric Thurman and Jennifer Kalifa and an abundance of family and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Chuck Lannom, Robin Starr, Lon Turner Starr, Houston Paul, Alex Bryant, and Noah Bryant. Honorary pallbearers include David Dillehay, Larry Davis, Joe Horne, Johnny Smith, W.L. Culberson, and Shannon Holcomb.
