Ms. Margaret Anne Devers age 64 of Scottsboro passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2023, at St Vincents Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama following a Short Illness. Margaret was a Scottsboro High School and
Auburn University Graduate where she earned her Master’s. After moving back to Scottsboro, she worked for the Scottsboro City Board of Education serving as the Librarian at the Junior High School. Margaret was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Scottsboro, Al.
The family will receive friends on Saturday February 4, 2023, at the First Baptist Chruch of Scottsboro from 10 am until 12 noon. Funeral service will begin at 1 pm with Bro. Shandy Dill officiating burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Margaret is survived by her mother Anne Devers, and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, she was preceded in death by her father Kenneth D. Devers and her brother Donald Devers.
