Mrs. Margaret Ann McCutcheon, age 76, of Arab, Alabama, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at Marshall Medical Center North.
Mrs. McCutcheon was born on April 10, 1946 to William Lee Edward West and Mattie James Jackson West in Morgan County, Alabama. She was a member of the Little Gethsemane House of Prayer. Mrs. McCutcheon had much love to give to anyone she met. She was one of the most wonderful ladies you could ever hope to meet and was adored by everyone. Her family described her as a beautiful soul with a genuine heart, a strong woman who fought cancer twice with grace. She wanted to do everything for her family. One of her quirks the family shared was that how she loved putting extra salt on everything she ate. Her family loved having her around while they cooked and when watching General Hospital on the television. She was one of the kindest woman to ever walk this earth and her loved ones are so blessed to have had her as the head of the family.
Preceding Mrs. McCutcheon in death are her parents, William Lee-Edward West and Mattie James Jackson, brothers; William Cecil “Dick” West and James Alvie West, and sisters; Nola Bearden and Ethel May Holt.
Mrs. McCutcheon is survived by her children, Lisa Ann Eadie, and Tammy Darlene West, grandchildren; Barbara Ann Grace, Felicia Eadie (Justin Oaks), Adam West and Makayla West Also surviving Mrs. McCutcheon are her seven great-grandchildren Ashlee Grace, Cristen Grace, Stephanie Grace, Lily Oaks, Zoey Oaks, Sawyer West, and Jaxon Ray West Willard; and sister, Mary Dot Pike.
Visitation for Mrs. McCutcheon will be held Friday- December 30, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at The Little Gethsemane House of Prayer
A funeral service will be held at The Little Gethsemane House of Prayer, Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Leon Holt officiating the service.
Pallbearers escorting Mrs. McCutcheon to her final resting place are Adam West, Cory Willard, Nick Cobb, Jacob Cobb, Alex Black, and Roman Calhoun.
