Margaret Ann Brown Howard was born in Springhill, TN on February 2nd, 1940. Her parents were the late Lou Ethel Birdsong Brown and the late John Henry Brown. She grew up and attended school in Giles County. She was employed by Lee Mar Shirt Factory for many years. She met and married Henry Thomas Anthony Howard. Accepting Christ as her savior, she became a member of Old Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Pulaski; and in later years became a member of Old Zion United Primitive Baptist Church of Pulaski.
Margaret Ann departed this earthly life Tuesday morning August 27th, 2024 at her home in Pulaski, Tennessee. She will long be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and a cheerful friend to those whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Bennett-may & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The funeral service will follow at 12:00pm on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 in the chapel of Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory.
The burial will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski, TN.
Margaret Ann was preceded in death by, her parents, Lou Ethel Birdsong Brown and John Henry Brown; husband Henry Thomas Anthony Howard; sisters, Minnie Lou Myles, and Nora Mae Brown, and brother, John Henry Brown Jr.
Surviving her is her loving daughter, Mrs. Evelyn (Bob) Coffey of Pulaski; three grandchildren Erica Coleman and Trevor White of Pulaski, TN; Jasmine White of Murfreesboro, TN; one great-grandson, Treython Coleman of Pulaski, TN. Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.
