Margaret Ann Brown Bridges, 82, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Moulton, AL to Grady and Pairlee Letson Brown. She had worked at Golden Manufacturing for many years. She was a member of Walker Baptist Church and had been attending Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 6, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jerry Humphries and Bro. Wayne Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Benny Bridges; two sons, Benny “Earl” Bridges (Rachel) and Matthew Bridges; one daughter, Ann Marie Hall (Scott); grandchildren, Carrie Ann Sanders, Brooklyn Hamilton, A.J. Deaton, T.J. Bridges and Austin Hall; three great-grandchildren, Carmen Sanders, Evalie Hamilton and Rhys Hamilton; one brother, Arlin Brown and two sisters, Minnie Torrence and Nell Wells (Larry).
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Garlin Brown and two sisters, Josephine Gasaway and Pauline Brown.
Pallbearers will be Benny E. Bridges, Matt Bridges, Scott Hall, Brandon Hamilton, T.J. Bridges and Austin Hall. Franky Bridges will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 6, 1:30-3:30 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
