Margaret Ann Barbour, age 79, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015, at her residence.
Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister.
The visitation was 1-2 p.m. Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Spry Memorial Chapel, with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Dr. Scott Delashaw and Brother Jerome Sherrill officiated. Burial was in Phil Campbell City Cemetery
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Walter Barbour; son, Keith Reese (wife, Kathy); stepchildren, Anthony, Ann, Bailey, Lorie, and Marvin; grandchildren, Daryl (Jessica) Reese and Andrea Stephens; great-grandchildren, Max, Elijah, and Emmett; sisters, Jane Brewer, Carolyn Baker, and Sue Bowen; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Melba Cummings, brother, Lawrence Cummings Jr., grandparents, Lum and Alma Cummings and J.L. and Helen Bentley, and stepdaughter, Rita Weir.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, 8088 Hwy 22, Spruce Pine, AL 35585.
