Marcia Gwenn Wilson, 75 of Athens passed away on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at Athens Health & Rehab. Mrs. Wilson was born on July 24th, 1948, in Limestone County, to Dave and Ruth Willis Clem.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband Lonnie Wilson; sons Rodney Wilson (Mary Ann) and Bradley Wilson (Melissa); grandchildren Alan Wilson (Erica), Caitlyn Wilson Brooks, Anna Wilson, and Joshua Wilson (Jessica); great-grandchildren Emilee Wilson, Ellie Wilson, Cailee Brooks, Evie Wilson, and John Parker Wilson; brothers Larry Clem (Carol), Mike Clem (Jamie), and Randy Clem (Ann); several nieces and nephews; and special friend Donna McWard..
She is preceded in death by her parents Dave and Ruth Clem.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be Saturday, April 13th, at 1:00pm at Sardis Springs Baptist Church, with Tim Keenum officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the church. Burial will be at Sardis Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Wilson was a special lady who loved to work in her flowerbed and talk on the phone. She dearly loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
