Marcia Ann Hughes, 77, passed away Monday, March 27, 2023 at Maplewood Health Facility in Jackson. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Saturday, April 1 in Ripley Memorial Gardens. Garner Funeral Home of Ripley has charge of the services.
She was born April 27th, 1946 in Memphis, TN. She attended Lauderdale County schools where her parents both taught and graduated from Ripley High School in 1962. She then attended Ole Miss and Memphis State University. She is survived by 2 nieces Leanne Fisher of Melbourne Beach, FL and Heather Gitchell of Ripley; a nephew Health Hughes of Ripley; a sister-in-law Sandra Hughes of Ripley; 7 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.
