DECATUR-The Decatur Police Department have been working on a case of Indecent Exposure sine March 20,2014. they have finally gotten their man. here is how they describe events leading u to the arrest of Andrew Lee Smith on charges of Indecent Exposure:
SYNOPSIS OF OFFENSE & ARREST:
“On 3/20/14, a female employee of the Mapco on Hwy 20 west reported to Decatur Police that a white male had been in the store, waited for all the other customers to leave, then approached the counter with his genitals outside of his pants in a sexual fashion.
The male made a purchase then left the store with his privates still exposed.
During the investigation, Andrew Lee Smith of Trinity was developed as the suspect. Warrants were obtained for Smith’s arrest for the charge of Indecent Exposure. Smith was made aware of the warrant and turned himself in to Decatur Police on 7/14/15. Ofc Tori Moseley arrested him on the warrant and placed him in the Decatur City Jail. He was released on a $500.00 bond.”
