LEIGHTON-A man was arrested according to the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department. The man has been charged with attempted murder after a teenager was shot in the area of Jarmon Way in Leighton Wednesday, May 3.
Here is what the Colbert County Sheriff’s Department has to say about the shooting of the 14 year old:
“Colbert County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in connection with the shooting of a teenager from Leighton earlier this week.
James Cleophus Greene Jr, Age 32 has been arrested on felony charges of attempt to commit murder & shooting a firearm into an occupied dwelling. (other charges could be coming forth and sent to Grand Jury at a later date) His bond is currently $150,000″
