Mamie Sue Nelson, 80, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at the Meadows in Fulton, MS.  She was born in Collierville, TN to R.T. and Lizzie Harris Goodwin.  She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Red Bay, AL.

Graveside services were held Thursday, April 6, at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. Bill Harper officiating.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her daughters, Susanne Nelson Franklin, Dianna Nelson Stepp (Adell), Meleah Nelson Huguley (Jeff) and Julie Nelson; grandchildren, Tracie Franklin Skinner, Kacie Franklin Long, Laken Stepp, Sunni Stepp Champion, Sawyer Huguley, Darby Huguley-Allen, Bailey Dawn Sparks, Houston McKinney and Hayden McKinney; great-grandchildren, Kylee Grace Skinner, Brantley Skinner, Bristol Skinner, Braden Long, Bella Long, Brighton Long, Jude Champion, Isaac Champion, Sophia Champion, John Riley Allen, Saylor Smith and Scout Sparks and one sister, Myrtle Grace.
