Mamie Ruth Daily, age 83 years and one month died December 19, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1929 to Fernando Hester and Wilson Hester Taylor who have preceded her in death. She most recently was a resident of Madison County, Alabama, but had lived in the Crooked Oak Community of Colbert County, Alabama most of her life. She was a member of Centerview Church of Christ in Russellville and retired from Reynolds Metals Company. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John B. Daily Jr.; son, Danny Robert Daily; brother, Trennis Hester. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Hester, Madison, and Susan Emmons (Phillip), Iuka, MS; grandchildren , Rusty Daily, Huntsville, Katie Willingham (Brad), Tuscumbia, John Watts, Madison, Allison Daily, Nashville, TN, and Alesha Provins (Jordan), Iuka, MS; great-grandchildren, Annaston and Wyatt Provins, Iuka, MS, and Jackson Porter, Nashville, TN; sister, Lois Hester (Gene), Russellville; nieces and nephew, Deborah Glasgow (Joe), Russellville, Rhonda Hudson (Mark), Murfreesboro, TN, Raymond Hester (Sherrie), Russellville, and a host of cousins, great nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brad Willingham, Tyler Elkins, Raymond Hester, Joe Glasgow, Cody Glasgow and Jordan Provins. Honorary bearers will be Thurman Howard and Gene Hester. Funeral service will be Saturday, December 22, 2012, 1 p.m. at the Pinkard Funeral Home chapel in Russellville, with Charlie Britnell officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.
