Mamie Lou Allen, age 92 of Athens, passed away Sunday February 6, 2022, at her residence.
Visitation will be Monday February 7th from 5pm until 7pm at McConnell Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday February 8th at 11am, with Bro. Thomas Lasseter and Bro. Kevin Marsh officiating. Interment will follow the service at Ripley Cemetery.
She lived in Limestone county all of her life, grew up in Ripley and went to school at Copeland.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her sons, Ricky Allen (Pam) of Athens and Bud Allen (Peggy) of Prospect, TN; daughter-in-law, Barbara Allen; brother, Douglas Pack (Gail) of Athens; eight grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and thirteen great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon Allen; sons, Barry Leon Allen and Jimmy Allen; and her parents CJ and Mary Pack.
