Services for Mamie Lockard Risner, age 82, of Collinwood will be Monday, October 15, 2012 at Cromwell Crossroads Church with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Cromwell Crossroads Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Sunday, Oct. 14th at Cromwell Crossroads Church.
Mrs. Risner was born February 16, 1930 in Wayne County, TN the daughter of the late Marion and Ruby Horton Lockard. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Risner was preceded in death by her husband,Charles Edgar Risner, daughter, Trudy Dicus; grandchild, Tanya Risner; brother, Bas Lockard; son-in-law, Mark Staggs; sister-in-law, Nadine Lockard; niece, Judy Adams.
Mrs. Risner died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 7 Months, 27 Days.
She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Phillip Risner and wife Barbara of Collinwood, TN, Gerald Risner and wife Brenda of Collinwood, TN, Justin Risner of Adamsville, TN; two daughters, Gilda Staggs of Columbia, TN and Carolyn Risner and friend Bennie McFall of Waynesboro, TN; eight grandchildren, Wendy Thompson (Brian), Phillip Shane Risner (Christy), Shawn Bromley (Deanna), Kayla Dicus, Patty Kephart (Jason), Chelsea Staggs, Camron Staggs, Cannan Dicus (Brandi);
nine great-grandchildren, Nathan Haddock, Alex Haddock, Adam Haddock, Bryce Thompson, Brennan Dicus, Wessen Bromley, Owen Bromley, Paisley Risner, and Katelin Risner;
step-great-grandchildren, Jordon Fletcher, Destiny Juaraz, Brianna Thompson, and Kambria Alexis ;
