Funeral service for Mamie Irene Woodall, age 83, of Decatur, will be Monday, November 18, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Shelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Coomer officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. Interment will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Woodall, who died Friday, November 15, 2013, at Trinity Medical Center, Birmingham, AL, was born November 10, 1930, in Morgan Co., to Ira Eli George and Hattie Way George.
Mrs. Woodall was a member of Austinville Church of God, also The Decatur Sunshine Club. She retired from Morgan County License Commission as Chief Clerk.
Mrs. Woodall was preceded by her husband William J. Woodall, Jr.
She is survived by her son Joe Woodall (Bridget) of Decatur, daughter Cheri Hawkins (Johnny) of Priceville, sister Mildred Emens of Decatur, brother Ira George of Decatur, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Harold Coomer Evangelistic Association.
