Malcolm “Skip” Grierson – Obituary

skipMalcolm “Skip” Grierson, beloved husband of the late Patricia Grierson (2010) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, at 73 years of age.   He was a devoted husband, partner, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was fortunate to meet two loves of his life – Patricia Loyanna, whom he was parted from in death, and Rosalie Neumann, whom he loved to the very end. He was the loving father of John (Brenda), Loyanna, Dennis and Michael; grandfather to Victoria and Tiffany; and brother to Joyce.

He received his bachelor’s degree from The University of Chicago and a master’s degree from The University of South Florida. He worked at AdTran as a Design Engineer for 14 years and loved every day he was able to work. He had a love for math, science, astronomy, physics, family and spaghetti. He was passionate, gentle, understanding and supportive. He was a creature of habit and loved his routine. He was a true gentleman and will be missed by all.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life service immediately following in the chapel.
