Mr. Malcolm Lynn Jessup, 70, passed away Saturday October 3, 2020 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born in Greenville, Kentucky on February 4, 1950 to James and Virginia Ford Jessup who preceded him in death along with his brothers, Jackie, Leroy, Bruce and Norman Jessup; sisters, Jeanetta Maddox and Wanda Sue Anderson.
He was a member of the Welchland Bapist Church and the Mule Skinners Association. He was a Jammer at the Orange Blossom Opry, Morgans Music Junction, Barbs Barn and Peggy and Carls Opry. Malcom was a legendary mule man. He was in the movie The Green Mile plus 7 other movies with his mules. His band the Tennessee Mule Train played in France and he sold mules all over the world and was known just about any place he visited.
He is survived by his wife, Laura Jones Jessup; son, Malcolm L. Jessup Jr., Owensboro, KY; daughters, Kim (Kevin) McKinney, Beachmont, KY, Krista Butcher, Spencer and Angie (Haskell) Myers, Spencer; sisters, Cloetta (Mitch) Kinkade, Greenville, KY and Joyce Ann Baldree, Los Angeles, CA; brothers, Gerald (Sandy) Jessup, Greenville, KY, T.K. (Beverly) Jessup, Robert Jessup, Morgan Town, KY and David (Barbara) Jessup, Graham, KY; grandchildren, Amber Fisher, Ashley Hankins, Tyler McKinney, Rowan Jessup, Luke Richards and Justin Butcher; great grandchildren, Easton, Elaine and Cason; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday in the Gary Funeral Home Chapel in Greenville, KY with burial to follow in the Vernal Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Depoy, KY with Military Honors.

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Thursday and 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM Friday at Garys Funeral Home, Greenville, KY
