Malcolm Lambert was born June 12, 1932 in Chester County, TN the son of the late William Royce and Frankie Wilma Russom Lambert.
He was married to Dottie Mae Ferguson Lambert for 40 years, she passed away on July 25, 1995. On February 21, 1998, he married Marie Kirk Long.
Mr. Lambert was a machinist for Brown Shoe Company for 37 years. He was a member of the Cypress Tank Church Of Christ in Selmer, Tennessee, loved Bluegrass music, mowing the lawn, bush hogging and eating fried or baked chicken.
Mr. Lambert departed this life on December 16, 2013 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 6 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife Marie Lambert of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Liz Gray and husband Bill of Selmer, TN; four sons, Randy Lambert and wife Susie of Selmer, TN, Tony Lambert of Selmer, TN, Keith Lambert of Selmer, TN, Ron Long of Locust Gap, PA; four sisters, Clara Rose Johnson of Selmer, TN, Wilma Jo Cox of Selmer, TN, Dale Rowsey Foster and husband Herman of Jackson, TN, Carolyn Ashe and husband Gerald of Selmer, TN; two brothers, Jack Lambert and wife Christine of Selmer, TN, Frank Lambert and wife Glenda of Adamsville, TN; twelve grandchildren, Chris Gray, Dan Gray, Miranda Lambert, Jessica Lambert, Dustin Lambert, Anthony Lambert, Brandon Lambert, Samantha Lambert, Keisha Lambert, Ron Long II, Jonathan Long, Amanda Miller; 15 great grandchildren; host of extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lambert was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Lambert; a daughter, Kathy Lewis; a brother, Jimmy Lambert; a sister, Joan Lambert.
Services were held on December 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer, Tennessee, with Dr. Brian Jackson officiating. Burial followed in the Sulphur Springs Cemetery at Selmer, Tennessee.
