Malcolm D. Campbell, age 81, of Hackleburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his residence.
Malcolm was a hard-working man, very intelligent, and free hearted. He loved working on his farm.
He was preceded in death by son, Keith Campbell; parents, Shadrick & Lovie (Taylor) Campbell; sister, Jeanette Daniel; and special four-legged friend, Spence.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Pat Talor Campbell; nephew, Gary Daniel; niece, Karen; sisters & brothers-in-law, Brenda & Terry McRae, Betty & Butch Quinn; and a host of friends.
The visitation will be 11:00 – 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 02, 2023, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. Bro. Heath McCarley will speak at the service. The burial will be at Old Bethel Cemetery in Bear Creek.
The pallbearers will be Terry McRae, Chris Cleveland, Trey Head, Butch Quinn, Shawn Lindsey, and Wayne Fincher.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Enhabit Hospice of Haleyville for your love and care. Also, a special thanks to the Fincher family, Cleveland family, and the friends he worked with on the farm for your care, visits, and prayers.
