In loving memory of our sweet boy Malachi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious seven-year-old boy, Malachi, who left this world far too soon. Malachi departed from our lives on August 4, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

Malachi had an infectious love for life that touched everyone around him. He was a passionate and imaginative soul, finding happiness in the simple things that brought him joy. Whether it was baking cookies with his delicate flower Yaya or playing his favorite games, Bingo and Sorry.

Despite his tender age, Malachi possessed a heart larger than life itself. His kindness knew no bounds, and he always extended a helping hand to those in need. Whether it was sharing his favorite game or comforting a friend in times of sorrow, he taught us the true essence of compassion and empathy.

Swimming and fishing were among his cherished pastimes, and he would always light up when near the water. And oh, how he loved those “Man’s Work” sessions with his Pappy, cherishing every moment spent together, learning and bonding.

At a young age, Malachi found solace and strength in his faith. His love for Jesus was evident in the kindness and compassion he showed to others. His heart was truly one of the biggest, and he had a natural ability to see the good in everyone and everything. He loved to pray for anyone and everyone that he knew. He even took time to say prayers for his community.

Malachi would quickly tell anyone that his Poppa was the “best fried Bologna maker in the world.” This playful remark always brought smiles to those around him, a reminder of his endearing wit and lightheartedness.

Malachi was a bright star who touched the lives of so many during his brief time with us. His radiant smile and loving nature will forever be etched in our hearts and memories. While we mourn his untimely departure, we take comfort in knowing that he is now in the arms of Jesus, free from pain and suffering.

In this time of grief, let us come together to celebrate the life of this remarkable little boy who brought so much love and joy into our lives. Let us remember his laughter, his zest for life, and his unwavering love for his family, friends, and Jesus.
