KILLEN- The 15 year old Killen girl who was reported missing Friday afternoon has been found in Muscle Shoals, according to a Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Sergeant. As of this writing, Mackenzie Crosswhite is at the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office where she has been reunited with her mother and father.

According to Deputy Sgt. Joe Hamilton, the girl was picked up at a Muscle Shoals residence by the local police and delivered to Lauderdale County. This all took place around 3:00 pm.
Mackenzie is reported to be in good health, having suffered no physical injuries during her time away from the family.
Sgt Hamilton told The Quad-Cities Daily that an investigation is ongoing to determine if any criminal charges will be pursued against an as yet unidentified man with whom she was reportedly spending this time away from home. They are also looking into possible criminal charges against unnamed person/persons who may have rendered assistance or aid in the girl’s disappearance.
