Major Kenneth Mabrey, 85 of Arab passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at Marshall Medical Center North. Kenneth was born February 27, 1936, in Marshall County the son of Major Ernest Mabrey and Sally Lavonia Allen Mabrey. He was a graduate of Arab High School Class of 1955, a veteran of the United States Air Force, retired from the Huntsville Housing Authority and a member of the Brooklyn Holiness Church.
He is survived by his children: Allen Mabrey and Sherry (Jeffrey) Walker; Grandson: Blake Willis; Host of Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Betty Mahan Mabrey, Sister: Myra Doris Gregory.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Gober Funeral Chapel with Millard Guffey officiating. Burial will be in Brookwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Gober Funeral Chapel.
Pallbearers: Russ Gregory, Larry Gregory, Ken Gregory, John Gregory, Dewayne George and Chris Garrison.
