MADISON-The Madsion Police Department issues a statement on the arrest of one suspect in the thefts from mailboxes in the Madison area:
“On December 31, 2015 Madison Police Detectives arrested Dana Michelle Rogers, 44 years old, of Huntsville, for recent thefts and destruction of mail from residential mailboxes in the City of Madison.
An eyewitness provided vehicle information which led detectives to identify Rogers as a suspect. The same citizen was also able to identify the offender. The Madison Police Department arrested Rogers on multiple charges of Criminal Tampering and Theft of Property.
Dana Michelle Rogers was arrested and booked into the Madison County Jail on the following charges:
Criminal Tampering in the First Degree, 11 counts
Theft of Property in the Second Degree, 1 count
Theft of Property in the Third Degree, 2 counts
Total Bond Amount: $31,000.00 “
