Maike Frye passed away peacefully on July 1, 2021 at her home in Elkmont, Alabama. She was 62.
Maike was the youngest of three children born to Guenther Paul Bruno Schnuchel, Doktor der Medizin, and Jutta Lori Eva “Priebe” Schnuchel in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on April 26, 1959.
She was a life-long horse enthusiast and avid reader. Maike will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom and infectious smile.
Maike is survived by her husband of 38 years Brian “Scott” Frye; her children, Joshua Kevin Frye and David Gunther Frye; three grandchildren, James Markus Frye, Timothy David Frye & Valerie Rose Frye; and her siblings Lis -Ingrid and Hans-Juergen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service in recognition of her Christian faith will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at 3pm, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 3801 Oakwood Drive NW, Huntsville, Alabama.
