Maggie Pearl Vinson Elrod, 82, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Itawamba County, MS to Idus and Audrey Mae Swindle Vinson. She worked as a seamstress for Blue Bell and Golden Manufacturing. She attended Calvary Family Worship Center.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 6, 2 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery with Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bobby Elrod; son, Steve Elrod (Vickie); brothers, Charles Vinson, Harold Vinson, Neal Vinson, Gary Vinson and Larry Vinson; grandchildren, Tasha Elrod Strickland, Sara Beth Elrod, Nathan Tyler Elrod, Christopher Chase Elrod and Zach Elrod (Kaitlynn) and great-granddaughter, Makenna Elrod.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brian Elrod; brother, Jimmy Vinson and great-granddaughter, Brinley Rose Elrod.
