Maggie Nell Middleton, age 88, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, November 5, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Darrel Pace will be officiating. Interment will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Middleton was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira “Junior” Middleton, parents, Shelby O. and Ruby Nichols, and ten siblings.
Survivors include daughters, Tammy Flowers (Bay) and Sue James (Ronny); sons, Bob “Pete” Middleton (LaRinda) and Jerry Middleton (Karla); sisters, JoAnn Knox (Finley), Kathy Clayton, and Emma Jean Brown; and grandchildren, McKenzie Tipton, Alexandria Flowers, Bay Flowers Jr., Kelly Geijer, Madison Geijer, Amanda Middleton, Christopher James, Ronny James, Angie Carr, Alicia Duncan, Heidi Forbes, and Karolyn Kadek.
Pallbearers include David Fleming, Todd Geijer, Chris James, Cody James, Finley Knox, Mike McIntosh, and Bay Flowers Jr.
