Maggie Lee Mathheus, 87, Russellville, Ala., passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Terrace Manor Nursing Home.
She lived most of her life in Franklin County and was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 10, 2012, 11 a.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, with James McCullar officiating. Burial will follow in Knights of Pythias Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Survivors include children, Linda Copeland (Charles), Russellville, Sheila Thrash (Phil), Tuscaloosa, James Mathheus (Jean), Littleville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles Copeland, Jr., Timothy Stone, Jason Stone, R. T. Taylor, Jeff Mathheus and Daniel Bagwell.
She was preceded in death by husband, Leon Earvin Mathheus; parents, Austin Benton and Ila Mae Montgomery; brothers, Carl, Jim, Paul, Irvin, Elmer, Wallace, Elbert, Millard Montgomery; sister, Ruby Nixon.
Pinkard Funeral Home Russellville will be directing.
