Mae Jean Gober Dillard Mae Jean Gober Dillard, 86, passed from her earthly home on January 6, 2024. She was born April 12,1937, to Mitchell and Lennie Mae McCullough Gober in Pontotoc County. She spent her years as a homemaker cooking for her children and grandchildren. She was fond of tending to her yard and garden. She embraced living life simply and enthusiastically taking care of her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her son, Dean Dillard (Viva) of Ecru; stepdaughters, Jo Adams (Scott) of Ecru and Lyn Clark of Minnesota; sister, Christine Griffin of Pontotoc; two granddaughters; three step granddaughters; two step grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and seven step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Sput” Dillard; her daughter, Tammy Swords; five brothers; and two sisters.
Services will be Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at 11AM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Visitation will be Monday, January 8th 5-8PM and Tuesday, January 9th 10AM until service time.

Pallbearers will be James Mardis, Dan Cobb, Scott Adams, Cody Adams, Joseph Brock, Will Tutor, and Billie Gillen.

In lieu of flowers she requested donations be made to Sanctuary Hospice House.
