Mae Dell Johnson, heart of gold stopped beating and she gained her angel wings at 93, on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born August 9, 1929 to the late Henry Lindsey and the late Sederia Thomas Lindsey in Itawamba County. She was a member of Sandy Springs Baptist Church. She was a blessing to everyone that knew her. Mae Dell was known for being a great cook and sharing her recipes. She also loved to go riding around, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday January 10, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Sanderson, and Minister Paul Epler officiating.
Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday January 9 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her son; Danny (Janice) Johnson of Fulton, daughters, Sherry Lindsey and Debbie (Ricky) Adams, both of Fulton, grandchildren, Vickie (Steve) Elrod of Red Bay, AL, Dustin Johnson of Fulton, C.J. (Kristin) Adams of Fulton, and Lee (Morgan) Adams of Fulton, great grandchildren, Sarabeth, Nathan, Emmy, Cade, Jordin, and Theo, and sister, Shirley Reeves of Fulton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noonan Johnson, parents, Henry and Sederia Lindsey, and her sister, Elouise Ayers.
Pallbearers will be Dustin Johnson, C.J. Adams, Lee Adams, Nathan Elrod, Steve Elrod, Dale White, and Daris White.
