Madison Quigley, 20, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Madison was born in Huntsville and graduated from Grissom High School in 2020. She was a sophomore at Auburn University, majoring in Elementary Education.
Madison loved kids. She worked as a counselor at the SE YMCA for several years, and also worked briefly as a nanny prior to her treatment. She loved country music and hanging with her friends, especially in Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bill Thacker. Survivors include her parents, Danny and Lana; her brother, Maddox; grandparents, Bob and Pat Quigley and Faye Thacker; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home on Sunday, December 12th with minister David Kross officiating and Ashley Smith singing.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s and Research Hospital in Madison’s name.
