MADISON-The Madison Police Department is investigating a pedestrian traffic fatality that happened on Monday, March 16th. Here is what they have sto say to date on the accident:
“On 3/16/2015 at approximately 10:00 A.M., Madison Police responded to the area of Madison Boulevard and Lime Quarry Road in regards to a pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle. Officers learned that a female, who was attempting to cross Madison Boulevard, had been struck. A citizen did stop to render aid to the injured woman, who was transported to the Huntsville Hospital Emergency Department where she later succumbed to her injuries.
Madison Police were able to identify the woman as 69 year-old Linda Luster of Madison, Alabama, and notify her family. We offer our sympathies and condolences to Mrs. Luster’s family.
This investigation is on-going and no further information is available at this time.”
