Madison Man Dies From Injuries Received In Two-Vehicle Accident

MADISON COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a two-vehicle accident in Madison County that has taken the life of one person:

“A two-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:37 p.m. Monday, October 27, has claimed the life of a Madison man.

Dezi R. Fletcher Jr., 27, was fatally injured when the 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe that he was driving, was struck by a 2022 Ford F-250 driven by Zachary A. Fogg, 32, of Meridianville. Fletcher was not using a seat belt at the time of crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Fogg was injured and transported to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.

The crash occurred on Mount Lebanon near Patterson Lane, approximately two miles northwest of Meridianville, in Madison County.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
